About Dr. Jillian Rushing
Jillian Rushing, MD has been practicing medicine for more than a decade, including the last eight and a half years caring for patients across New Mexico in both community medicine and the VA system. After years of experiencing the limitations of traditional primary care, she founded Panoramic Primary Care—a membership‑based clinic dedicated to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered medicine without the rush.
Dr. Rushing’s passion for family medicine began early. Growing up in Texas, she watched her mother struggle with chronic health issues. Despite countless appointments with specialists, it was her family doctor who truly anchored her care and transformed her life. That experience shaped Dr. Rushing’s belief in the power of compassionate, comprehensive primary care—and inspired her career path.
Dr. Rushing and her husband, Albert, eventually made their way to New Mexico, where they fell in love with the Land of Enchantment and planted deep roots while starting their family.
Throughout her career, Dr. Rushing has remained committed to providing thoughtful, evidence‑based care. She believes doctors aren’t magicians but partners—guiding patients with the best scientific knowledge available to support their long‑term well‑being. As a Board‑Certified Family Physician, she sees herself as a caring ally in your health journey: someone who listens closely, explains clearly, and helps you understand not just how to add years to your life, but how to add life to your years.
In her free time, she enjoys time with her family and the outdoors, whether it is mountain biking the trails in Placitas, hiking through the Sandias or camping out in Northern New Mexico.
Always learning, Dr. Rushing maintains her Board Certification in Family Medicine and is a candidate for Board Certification in Lifestyle Medicine to be completed in Fall 2026.
About Albert Vasquez
Albert Vasquez spent his career in various Accounting, Finance and Technology positions. The last 8 years were with Presbyterian Healthcare Services assisting with compliance and accounting for the Federal and State awards the organization received. This experience provided him with invaluable experience understanding the field of healthcare.
After high school, Albert moved to Las Vegas, NM to attend college at New Mexico Highlands University. Along with graduating Summa Cume Laude with a BBA in Finance, he has been faithfully cleaning the acequia in El Cerrito, NM for the past 25 years and counting.
He moved to Denver to start a career but considered himself ‘Entrapped in the Enchantment!’ of New Mexico. He eventually met Jill at the San Antonio International Airport while she was on her way to Denver for a residency interview. As fate and luck would have it, they were assigned seats next to one another on the flight back to Denver and have not stopped talking since that day! Jill was accepted to her first choice of residency in Denver so they were able to experience and support each other through her training.
With residency complete, Albert and Jill had the opportunity to move anywhere their hearts desired! With little debate, they knew it was back to the Land of Enchantment to grow their careers and start a family.
After returning to New Mexico, Albert became the Treasurer and Board Member for the Kiwanis Club of Corrales. He has held both positions since 2018. In addition to volunteering in the community, he enjoys mountain biking and camping with Jill and their two boys, Eli and Ethan.
Albert is excited to utilize his veried experience to support the backend needs of the clinic and our patients.
